Pre-Launch App Store Compliance Audit for Gambling App
Client
Large betting company with Curaçao gambling license

Challenge
Our client, the owner of a Mexican operator running under a Curaçao gambling license, was preparing to launch a mobile gambling app targeted at users in Mexico. Distribution through the App Store meant the product had to clear Apple's strict, multi-layered requirements for gambling content, real-money flows, and user data. Any inconsistency between the beta build and platform policy risked rejection at review and a stalled commercial launch — a serious exposure before committing further capital to the market.
Solution
We ran a pre-launch compliance audit covering the build, the documentation, and the platform rulebook in parallel:
- Beta build review — examined the beta version of the app end to end, including optional and dynamic features that surface only under specific user flows.
- Legal documentation analysis — assessed the terms of use, privacy policy, and KYC framework against the realities of a gambling product distributed in Mexico.
- Platform rules mapping — walked through Apple's requirements for apps involving real money and cryptocurrency, line by line, against the client's implementation.
- Risk map and recommendations — produced a visual risk map of problem areas and a set of actionable fixes across content, advertising, and user data handling.
Result
The client launched the gambling app on the App Store for the Mexican market and cleared Apple's heightened review for real-money products.
The audit gave the team a defensible compliance posture for a high-scrutiny category — a repeatable framework for shipping regulated gambling products through closed digital marketplaces.
