Our story
We’ve been
in business
since 2016
We started with legal support for tech companies, back when gamedev still seemed like a niche. Can hipsters build a legal business? Turns out, they can.
Every year we doubled — in headcount, practice areas, and rankings. Our first clients taught us how gamedev actually works: monetization models, what belongs in a publishing agreement, where the licensing pitfalls hide. They never had to translate from “game speak” to “legal speak.”
The niche turned out to be an industry. We launched a dedicated gamedev practice and started working with gaming companies — from indie studios to major publishers.
Gamedev clients brought fintech clients. Fintech brought tech startups. The challenges grew more complex and interesting — and we grew with them.
We went international — opened a hub in Dubai and accomplished in one year what we’d planned for five. The UAE gamedev community was just taking shape — we helped build it.
We launched Futura Digital — a standalone unit for digital companies. Digital clients didn’t just need a lawyer. They needed an operational partner who deeply understands how a tech company works — someone who can support the entire journey, not as an outside contractor, but as part of the team.
In 2024, we received the Pocket Gamer Award for best business support service in game development, and in 2025, we entered the Legal 500 for TMT and IP.
Today
Over these years, we became part of the gamedev community in Cyprus and the UAE.
We partner with DMCC Gaming in Dubai, co-host events with AD Gaming in Abu Dhabi, and run free Advice Pitstop consultations at major conferences.
