Investment Exit and Contract Transfer for Gaming Publisher

A UAE-based video game publisher had made an early-stage strategic investment in a Latvian game development studio. The deal was structured to support the creation of a new game IP and secure long-term collaboration between the parties. When the client decided to exit the partnership, the task was to unwind the arrangement cleanly under both UAE and Latvian law, without disrupting the underlying development pipeline. In parallel, a key development contract had to move to a newly established group company as part of an internal restructuring — all while preserving IP rights, production timelines, and the commercial position the client had built around the project.
