Uzbekistan and New Opportunities for the Digital Industry

In July 2025, the Futura team took part in the Global Business Forum in Tashkent — one of the main events for companies weighing Uzbekistan as a place to grow a digital business.

Together with our partners, we organised the first delegation focused on game development and publishing. It put international market players in the same room as the local IT community and opened a direct line to the region’s leading tech companies.

IT Park Uzbekistan showed us the country’s expanding digital infrastructure up close, and we used the time for a frank conversation about what entering the Central Asian market actually involves for a foreign company.

Uzbekistan’s potential as a hub for IT and creative industries is hard to miss. As of August 2026, the numbers back it: IT Park residents exported $191.8 million worth of services in the first quarter of 2026 alone, $38.5 million more than in the same period a year earlier.

Futura plans to keep bringing business missions to the region and supporting companies as they launch and scale their projects there.
