Retirement visa — UAE
Guiding retirement visa applications for individuals over 55 who want long-term UAE residency based on financial standing rather than employment or business ownership.
What our clients face

Employment visa expiring without a new role
Your employment visa is expiring and you do not plan to take a new role, but you want to keep living in the Emirates.
Savings, property, or investment income in the UAE
You have built savings, property, or investment income in the UAE and need a residency path that reflects your financial standing rather than a job contract.
Relocating to the UAE for retirement
You are relocating from another country specifically for retirement and need clarity on which visa category fits — the 5-year retirement visa has two qualifying routes (property plus savings combined, or active income alone) with specific thresholds that are easy to misread.
Unsure if documents will pass approval
You already hold UAE property or a bank deposit but are unsure whether your documents will pass the approval process without professional support.
Our approach

Eligibility assessment
Review your financial position, work history, and age against current thresholds and confirm the strongest qualifying route: (A) property worth AED 1 million+ combined with savings of AED 1 million+ in a UAE bank, or (B) proven monthly income of AED 15,000+ (AED 20,000+ for Dubai-specific applications). We also verify that you meet the 15-year minimum work experience requirement.
Document preparation
Compile and certify all required evidence: title deeds or Oqood certificates, bank statements, income verification letters, health insurance proof, employment history records, and valid passport copies.
Application filing
Submit the retirement visa application to the relevant authority — GDRFA for Dubai or ICP (Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security) for other emirates — manage status tracking, and handle any additional information requests.
Dependent sponsorship
Advise on adding a spouse and dependents under the same retirement visa where permitted, including their documentation requirements.
Renewals and compliance
Monitor visa validity, remind you of renewal windows, and ensure ongoing compliance with residency conditions.
Stages of work
Initial consultation
You share your financial situation, work history, and residency goals; we confirm whether the retirement visa is the right route or whether a Golden Visa or investor visa is a better fit.
Eligibility audit
We verify your qualifying assets or income against the applicable thresholds (GDRFA for Dubai, ICP for other emirates) and flag any gaps before filing.
Document collection
We provide a checklist, review every document for completeness, and arrange attestations or translations where needed.
Application submission
We file the application with the relevant authority, pay government fees on your behalf, and track processing status.
Visa stamping and Emirates ID
Once approved, we coordinate the medical fitness test, Emirates ID registration, and visa stamping so your residency is fully activated.
